Hi Friends! Bok! July 2017, Split in Croatia. Pools and sea holiday in Dalmatia at Adriatic sea. Summer fun. I was 9 years and 7 months.
The Dalmatian Sun was Hot

CROATIA - BRAC ISLAND, SUPETAR TOWN
• Brac Island: the largest island in Dalmatia, 396km2

• Supetar: 3500 inhabitants main town, ferries to/from Split
• Supetar: buildings made of island's famous white limestone
- Caffe Bar Galeb has this view over Supetar harbour
- We desperately needed a cold drink

• Croatian writer, Ulika Ive Vojnovica aka Ivo Vojnovic's Street
Ivo Vojnovic (1857-1929)
Croatian writer of Serb and Italian descent from Dubrovnik. He lived in Supetar from 1898 to 1899 acting as the Administrator of the District Branch and from 1903 to 1907 as District Governor.
• Death of Jugovic’s Mother - based on folk poetry, written in Supetar

Vasco Lipovac (1931-2006)
Croatian painter, sculptor, printmaker, designer and illustrator. Mediterranean climate inspired him to fulfill his poetic vision.

• Known for minimalist figuration, use of intense, unmodulated palette
• Used metal, wood, enamel and terracotta for sculptures

THE DALMATIAN FJAKA
Sometimes Dalmatians are on Fjaka. Many explanations. The Croatian poet Jaksa Fiamengo described Fjaka as state of mind and body, a faint unconsciousness, immobility, numbness, passivity, nothingness, half somewhere, half nowhere, in between.

- Airport was crowded, work to expand it had already started
- White hat is from Supetar, 60 Kunas, same hat in Split 150 Kunas
- Sir-D enters airplane, then converts Split trip into memory
FLIGHTS: Going home.
And the Dalmatian Sun was Hot
