Shangri-La's breakfast belongs to category the best ever. Usually breakfast took two hours. Service desk for eggs and toasts, Eggs Benedict, sushi desk, two kinds of bacon (crispy and crispier), congee porridges, fresh press juices, many kinds of Chinese noodles, dimsum, croissants, coffees, deserts, all good. Then to the pools.
Swimming time!
Pools, jumping, diving, swimming, hot tub. Probably the best relaxing city hotel! At noon a brief shower cooled the air to around +28C.
Ready to swim! But in the evening I spent two hours writing my diary.
SINGAPORE ARTSCIENCE MUSEUM
NASA exhibition about space history. After two bows of breakfast noodles in Shangri-La, we took taxi to ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands. NASA's rockets, space suits and 2G astronaut simulator.
Titan 1 Rocket Engine LR-87, first stage, operational in 1962, powered by kerosene fuel and liquid oxygen (LOX) oxidiser.
Lunar Roving Vehicle, LRV. Replica of a battery-powered Lunar rover aka Moon buggy. Used on the Moon in three missions of Apollo program, Apollo 15, 16, 17, in 1971 and 1972. All three LVRs remain on the Moon. Since the Moon is smaller, it has only 16,5% of Earth's gravitational pull.

We went twice the 2G astronaut simulator: rotating, flipping, exciting! I think we screamed a bit inside that capsule.
By metro back to hotel. Later hot tub and swimming at Shangri-La's pool. And finally steak dinner at Waterfall Restaurante Italiano beside the pool, pretty good.
Orchard Rd is 3km long main street of Singapore, clean and organised.
Taxi car service was fine and half price compared to Helsinki.
Third morning in Singapore. Again, very good breakfast which included most possible. Feels good even it was drissling. For me this was a working day at hotel: math 6 pages, diary, Finnish language. TV programs scanning.
Afternoon we went to Orchard Road just beside our hotel. We found Kinokuniya Bookstore, not small. I got a book by Daniel Lipkowitz: Lego, Awesome Ideas.
Sir-K and Sir-D knew Chinese New Year is coming!

We are leaving. The last day at Shangri-La Singapore.
Towards the home. Experienced World Tour travellers heading to the night flight to Helsinki. Aircraft was new Airbus A350. Travelled so far 47 days. Weather now: Singapore +28C half cloudy, Helsinki -6C raining.

• After 21 flight hours over Pacific Ocean the world feels still big
• Got some mosquito bites, nothing more serious
