CHURROS and T-BONE, MUSEUM REINA SOFIA and PRADO MUSEUM
1. Chocolateria San Ginés (1894)
• Famous Spanish churros cafe, since 1894, open 24 hours
• Lattes and churros with chocolate cup, order in process
• Churros experience! Dip long churros into chocolate cup, powerful
• Chocolatería had readyness for about anything, great potential

2. Museum Reina Sofia (1990)
• Reina Sofia is Spain's national museum of 20th century art
• WARNING! Information may have some influence on you
• Square the Circle! Now! Why not!
• Sofia in museum's name comes from Queen Sofia
• Here a museum client, thinker, is developing understanding
• Here a museum client, researcher, performs detailed study on the art
• Here a museum client, inventor, is processing his art-intake
• At some point an art work swallowed me! Quite annoying.

3. In the Meantime - Scouting Madrid was fun
• Hot day, cold drinks. Colombian restauranter took this photo
• El-Machine for espressos and lattes at the center of Madrid
• We agreed, Colombian restaurant's service was quite friendly
• We met Venezuelan, Cuban, Colombian and Spanish service personnel
• Brisk Mamster and Brisk Godmother inspecting Madrid

4. Restaurant Sobrino de Botin (1725)
• The oldest continuously serving restaurant in the world, they say
"Just because the butcher is dead doesn't mean we won't be able to eat pork tonight” (old saying). And we did.
• Restaurant, mentioned in Ernest Hemingway's novel The Sun Also Rises
• Before us: Jacqueline Kennedy, Charlon Heston, Michael Douglas...
• Starters, Roast Suckling Pig and Entrecote with beer and sangria
• Starters arrived and restaurant atmosphere became noisy
• Second visit, his first time here was 30 years ago
• Roast Suckling Pig was crispy, but with very strong touristic intress
"This historical restaurant was busy, happy and noisy experience"
5. Restaurant Dantxari (1997)
• Dantxari offered traditional Basque menu and atmosphere
• Head of Room, Sommelier Medina recommends and takes our order
• Starters: glass bread with tomato and oil; sardelli anjovis plate
• Main: Cod, Monk, Tenderloin, and Oxtail + wine, coke
• Good meals, wine! Special note for Dad's no-bones Oxtail: delicious
• Our team recommends Dantxari Restaurant, Gordon-Ramsay level
6. The Prado Museum (1785)
• Hot day but our team was ready for Prado
• Prado had ongoing renovation works, but we were not afraid
• Francisco de Goya (1746–1828) was a talented Spanish painter
• Queuing for ticket clearance, tickets bought online
• Picture-taking even without flash was forbidden inside Prado
(Photos OK in Louvre, Uffici, Vienna, Amsterdam national museums, etc)
• Corridors, rooms, over 7000 paintings, oil, sculptures. No photos
• Guernica - Picasso, Miró, Dali, Kandinsky, El Greco, Velázquez, Goya
• Enough of oil? Renewables found in Museum Reina Sofia!
• SLOW? A small queue in Cafe Prado means >30 mins wait, huh, oh
7. Restaurant La Mi Venta (1962)
• Royal Palace, our hotel and next restaurant are just near
• Traditional and homemade menu with target of quality ... they said
• Seafood Team ready for the menu
• Steps down to cellar hall. 8 o'clock dinner was full of diners
• Ladies took seafood. Beef Team shared 1,1kg T-Bone
• Ready for 1,1kg T-Bone experience!
• La Mi Venta was our last dinner in Madrid during this visit
• Seafood Team: Pretty Good. Beef Team: more expected.
• Restaurant offered pretty good arrangement for dining
• Madrid will be remembered for dinners
